November 7, 2013 and November 8, 2013. Days which will be forever written in the pages of history. A monstrous typhoon given the name, Haiyan, or as we Filipinos named it, Yolanda, devastated much of Central Philippines, specifically the islands of Leyte, Samar and Cebu, with its massive force of wind and deadly storm surges. Homes destroyed, livelihoods razed, lives lost and dreams shattered. It pains me to see so many people, my countrymen, in much despair.

Yesterday, me and my friends held an art charity at my province of Bulacan. I am indeed proud to say that the event went smoothly. I would like to thank the people who participated in the event. The proceeds of the event was donated to GMA Kapuso Foundation under the name Anonymous. It's not much, but I know it will help.

I implore my fellow Filipinos and the people from all over the globe to do your part. May the almighty guide our fellow Filipinos who, sadly, had departed and may he grant strength to the survivors on this dark hour... Mabuhay Pilipinas!

Hello everybody... Julzz here...

Damn! This year's been very enduring... Endless work and unsavory weather... Also, this passed few days I feel a bit depressed... One of the reasons is I think I'm not doing well enough in terms of making art... Now, I only have one and half month to prepare and complete requirements for my mini-thesis, also known as the "Revalida"... It is sort of a thesis defense for Student Digital artists... And it will be held on June... I hope you guys wish me luck...

Also on June, my elder brother will finally tie the knot with his fiance and guess who's going to be the best man? Yes, yours truly... The worst thing is, I still have a lot of projects pending... Previously, I posted a journal about continuing those projects and I'm going to list them down here...

REVALIDA
Yeah I said it would be a mini-thesis... So this will be first priority... Do understand that I have to postpone a lot of commissions due to this event... Until June that is... I have to construct original character illustrations and profile, a digital painting, a flash animation, an after effects project and finally a project that combines all 4 projects mentioned... I only have 1 and half month to finish them all... ARGH!!!

SONIC - HUMAN PROJECT
I already mentioned this at my previous journal entry... I assure you guys that I haven't completely trashed this project... I already have rough drafts on 2 Sonic characters... I do hope my rendition of their human forms will meet your standards...

SUGAR RUSH PROJECT
Beside from that, on my work, I have been obliged (challenged) to make an artwork of all Sugar Rush racers from the 3D animated movie, Wreck-it-Ralph... This will be a big challenge for me...

VOCALOID AND OC COMMISIONS
More pending requests... I also mentioned this at my previous journal entry... People also kept on asking when I will post the IRON MIKU II artwork... Especially the Black Rock Shooter enthusiasts... All I can say is... I will post it if it is finished... To the people who commissioned me to make an artwork of their OC and caricatures, please be patient... Don't worry...

Oh God! It seems I bit more than I can chew... May this be a lesson for me... To my friends and watchers, thank you for your support... I will do my best to improve my style... First thing's first, my fellow Christian brethren, at this holy season of lent, let us all commemorate the sacrifice of our lord, Jesus Christ... May his teachings forever be our guide to salvation...

I'm gonna be busy this coming Thursday - Saturday for the season of Lent... However, I'll resume unfinished projects this coming Easter Sunday...

It's been a long time since I postponed the Sonic - Human project... Lots of requests were left on hold and believe me I feel ashamed about it. Even though I have tons of excuses, to my watchers who are disappointed, please accept my most sincerest apologies...

Although currently I'm still busy at school and work, I think it's safe to say that I'll be continuing pending requests... Preferably the OC Commisions and mostly the Sonic - Human project whenever I have free time... Don't get me wrong though, since one artwork of that project only takes about less than 2 hours to do... The time I spend on conceptualizing is rather long... As much as possible I want to stick to the original resource material and the like...

To all Sonic the Hedgehog fans out there, now's your time to drop in your requests on which character I should humanize next... But unfortunately, I won't be drawing SONIC, SHADOW and SILVER just yet... I said it before and I said it hundred times, I'm saving the 3 hedgehogs for last... Until I'm convinced that every vital Sonic character has been humanized, I'll proceed unto drawing Sonic, Shadow and Silver... I hope you guys understand...

Anyway, thank you so much for the people who keep on supporting me and I hope reviving this project will once again give me more support...
