Last September 29, 2012, almost 3:00 pm (GMT+08 ), I finally came back to cosplaying after being on hiatus for over a year... The event was Cosplay Mania '12 held in SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, the Philippines... It was truly an epic day for me... Lots of old friends were surprised to see me back in a costume... Got to see some new faces as well... That's what I get for being inactive... LOL...
I cannot show you guys the full costume yet... But you can see half of it as you click the link below... (Credits to NPPA images)

Now, the pros and cons in wearing that costume...
Cons (My mistakes):
1.) My mistake... I made the head too tight... It squeezes my head and I have to take the helmet off a couple of times just for my blood to circulate in my head...
2.) My visual range is also limited since I can only see through a narrow horizontal gap while my line of sight is being flashed by 4 small LED lights...
3.) Some parts come off easily... Especially the tie... But not too often...
4.) The costume itself is not complete due to lack of time making it...
5.) Although I don't complain about this but I'll include this anyway... Maneuverability is limited...
Pros:
1.) Most people in the event thought I was a girl in that costume... So technically, I was a trap...
2.) Even though the design is somewhat complex, people still recognize who I was portraying as... Well... Hatsune Miku is indeed popular...
3.) Mecha/Robot cosplay in the Philippines is a complete eye candy to/for kids of all ages... Got many photo ops...
4.) I got to be the first person to cosplay the Fei Yen version of Hatsune Miku... It's still an achievement for me...
5.) Despite of how covered I was in the costume, it's still cool while wearing it... Literally cool... I didn't sweat much...
Acknowledgements:
That's all for this journal... I would like to thank for making the spandex part of the costume... I would not have done this cosplay without her... I would also like to thank for giving me inspiration... As far as the Hatsune Miku Fei Yen costume goes, I might NOT put it on again for a very long time... But maybe... Just maybe...

Saving Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda victims

November 7, 2013 and November 8, 2013. Days which will be forever written in the pages of history. A monstrous typhoon given the name, Haiyan, or as we Filipinos named it, Yolanda, devastated much of Central Philippines, specifically the islands of Leyte, Samar and Cebu, with its massive force of wind and deadly storm surges. Homes destroyed, livelihoods razed, lives lost
SUMMER...
Hello everybody... Julzz here...
Damn! This year's been very enduring... Endless work and unsavory weather... Also, this passed few days I feel a bit depressed... One of the reasons is I think I'm not doing well enough in terms of making art... Now, I only have one and half month to prepare and complete requirements for my mini-thesis, also known as the "Revalida"... It is sort of a thesis defense for Student Digital artists... And it will be held on June... I hope you guys wish me luck...
Also on June, my elder brother will finally tie the knot with his fiance and guess who's going to be the best man? :XD: Yes, yours truly... The worst thi
Sonic - Human project continuation 2013
First thing's first, my fellow Christian brethren, at this holy season of lent, let us all commemorate the sacrifice of our lord, Jesus Christ... May his teachings forever be our guide to salvation...
I'm gonna be busy this coming Thursday - Saturday for the season of Lent... However, I'll resume unfinished projects this coming Easter Sunday...
It's been a long time since I postponed the Sonic - Human project... Lots of requests were left on hold and believe me I feel ashamed about it. Even though I have tons of excuses, to my watchers who are disappointed, please accept my most sincerest apologies...
Although currently I'm still busy at s
